The sunflowers are bobbing their heads in the summer breeze. Fields and fields of sunflowers surround our village this year, lined up in neat rows watching the sun cross the southern sky. Where a sunflower field ends a wheat field begins. The wheat harvest has started. The giant combines are roaring up and down the fields from morning to dust. The trucks, filled with grain, are passing back and forth to the silos. The farmers are very busy this time of year.
